Katie Lugo is a litigation attorney who represents clients in a wide range of banking, construction, real estate, and business litigation matters. Katie earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia in 2021 after completing her undergraduate studies at Stetson University. Since becoming licensed, she has quickly developed a strong reputation for her analytical approach, attention to detail, and ability to manage sophisticated legal matters involving commercial transactions and litigation.
Before entering private practice, Katie sharpened her legal and business acumen working in-house for one of the world’s largest oilfield services companies, where she gained firsthand experience handling corporate, contractual, operational, and risk-management issues within a fast-paced global business environment. That experience gives her a unique perspective when advising business clients facing legal and operational challenges.
Katie has also worked alongside respected litigation attorneys in the Houston area, where she expanded her experience in commercial disputes, construction-related claims, banking matters, contract litigation, and real estate conflicts. Her combination of litigation experience and transactional understanding allows her to identify practical solutions while maintaining a sharp focus on protecting her clients’ long-term business interests.
